Project Challenge: {analysis}
Scott Woolfolk is a local farmer that William Donnell (Lead Designtist for Sodium Halogen) grew up with. For the last several years, Scott and his family have built and run a corn maze on the edge of the county. Attendance was going well, but Scott kept getting asked how folks could find out information online.
Scott was also doing alot of radio ads this year, but instead of lots of details about how and where in the ads - it was decided the radio spots should simply drive people to the site where they could find all the details.
Project Solution: {hypothesis}
We did some research on corn maze sites and quickly realized that very few of them are attractive or informative. Our motto for the site became "I want to take my kid there! That looks like fun!"
Woolfolk Farms has been around for a century so the designtists decided to go old school to make the site really stand out. A letterpress style design was chosen to help visitors think of a simplier time.
Project Results: {designtific conclusion}
The website has gotten rave reviews from visitors as well as the Woolfolk family. Marvelous Maze's attendance went way up and best of all, when people simply search for a corn maze to visit next fall, the search results will help drive them back to the Marvelous Maze.
