Transform your team from an idea engine into an innovation engine

Every business wants to be innovative. “Let's get some innovative ideas together!” we think.

So we gather our teams and brainstorm together. We generate tons of new ideas, and then we pitch our "next big things" to management.

And get rejected.

Over and over.

All innovation teams face the same 10 problems:

  • Where to start?
  • No clear innovation process
  • Sorting the good ideas from the bad
  • Self-confidence
  • Unclear on business impact
  • Gaining trust
  • Not sure what management cares about
  • Lack of accountability
  • Lots of organizational roadblocks
  • New development is too risky

Innovate to Launch is a self-paced online course that teaches you an efficient step-by-step process that fixes these problems. You can easily teach your team and immediately transform your business' innovation process put into action.

The 3 Innovation Killers

1: No solid process

Too many businesses rely on luck for success.

If you want your organization (and your career) to succeed, then what you want is not just one "flash in the pan" innovation win, but a track record of wins. Start building your list of wins by adopting a proven, repeatable process.

Amateurs rely on luck. Professionals follow a plan.

2: No self-confidence

Have you ever nervously presented a new idea to an executive or manager, and you could feel mid-pitch that you had lost their interest? You knew the answer already, before you had finished and "no" even crossed their lips. It's demoralizing.

Maybe if you had made slides? Maybe if you were better at public speaking?

You just need some confidence.

But not the self-generated, psyched-up, feel-better-about-yourself kind: we're talking about the natural self-confidence you gain from having a good idea, knowing why it's good, and having a clear plan to pitch from.

3: No trust

High-value innovation teams need to explore and experiment. That requires a lot of trust from management.

The number one reason most innovative ideas are rejected is because the decision makers think the idea is too risky: Too expensive, too time-consuming, or no certainty that it will bring business value.

When you pitch ideas without addressing these types of risks, you show executives that you don't understand the business problems and concerns they carry.

But you can build a ton of trust when you present a robust plan for an idea that addresses these (and other) risks, and shows your decision maker that you know what they care about.

Innovate to Launch gives you innovation super-powers

If you're looking for a simple way to get your team innovating, build your confidence and gain trust from management, we think our course is perfect for you.

We’ve built the course around a simple workshopping process that you can use to change all of your team’s “possibly good ideas” into massive value and transformation for your business. Our process isn't complicated. It's simple enough that you can use it as a go-to toolbox for your team.

Here's what you can expect:

illustration of two lists, one rejected, one approved
Sort the "Yeah!" from the "meh."

Gain a practical understanding of what sets truly innovative ideas apart from the merely good ones. Use a repeatable framework to quickly vet incoming ideas, test them, and define their value.

Find the all-important buy-in

Get early interest and approval from key decision makers, and avoid the dreaded "this is a waste of my time" reactions.  You'll get them on your side throughout the idea-development process.

Uncover your idea's core value

A business can't just implement an idea; it needs a solid plan. We'll show you how to create a “product proposal,” and how to get your big idea ready to fit into your development pipeline.

Launch & learn, rinse & repeat

Start to collaborate with your team to build your ideas. You'll master how to develop your ideas, test them, and then learn and iterate in order to maximize your new product or service’s value.

“Now I have a more formal idea of how to go about pitching my ideas to people in the office or to clients. [The framework] is great because it allows you to cover all your bases with the questions that might be asked: you already know whether the idea is going to be a good one or not.”
