Design Sprint

How we learned to stop worrying and love the Design Sprint.

Tell us about your challenge

See an impact in a week, not months

Rapidly building innovative products and services is key to staying competitive.

We know we need innovation, but we don’t know how (and it’s scary).

Does this sound familiar? The last time management wanted to build a new product, you had lots of meetings, but not much got done. The group made decisions, but then an external stakeholder torpedoed the whole project. The project dragged on forever. The whole process was expensive, no one considered how risky the project was and it turns out customers didn’t even want what you created.

After months of work, everyone was frustrated, and gun-shy about attempting this whole “innovative process” again. There must be another way.

Thousands of teams around the world have run sprints in startups (like Slack and Airbnb), big companies (like LEGO and Google), schools (like Stanford and Columbia), and even thousands of small to medium-sized companies.

The Design Sprint

What is it?

Design Sprints are 4-day, time-constrained, & facilitated workshops (at your facility or ours) that allow your team to develop, prototype, and user test new ideas. This allows you to reduce risk when bringing new products or services to market.

Day 1 - Define, Map, Sketch

Day 1 allows us to identify the most valuable problem to focus on and ideate on multiple ways to solve it.

Day 2 - Decide and Storyboard

Day 2 focuses on the selection of one concept to refine in detail and generation of a rough flow.

Day 3 - Prototype

Day 3 is all about building a working prototype we can test and learn from.

Day 4 - Test

Day 4 is dedicated to testing with real users to validate your prototype.

Who is this for?

If your organization is feeling stuck or not getting the results you expect, we can guide you to a better way to imagine, decide and execute.

Launch a new product

We’ve got an idea for a new product, but are unsure what the next steps should be. Our team understands how to manage existing products, but doesn’t understand how to build new ones.

Find market fit on an underperforming product

We want to know why customers are not buying our product. We need to try bold changes quickly while managing risk.

Unlock growth potential of a successful product

“The way we’ve always done it” is holding our team back. We need a new approach. We need help determining where to innovate and modernize.

We've run dozens of Workshops from SF to DC
